描述：Opiorphin is a modulator of mood-related states and pain sensation. The pain-suppressive potency is as effective as morphine in the pin-pain test, a behavioral rat model of acute mechanical pain. It inhibits the enkephalin-catabolizing enzymes human neutral ecto-endopeptidase (hNEP) and human ecto-aminopeptidase (hAP-N).
